And so it begins...

Alright well Ashlee, Michelle, and I have finally all made it up to BYU! Michelle and I drove up yesterday and it took us about 11 hours. And yes I have to admit that I received my first EVER speeding ticket! I was so scared and I almost started crying! But it's all good, I will never speed again. : ) Anyway so yesterday I was so frustrated and just overwhelmed with everything. I was running around taking Michelle to her apartment and then to Wal-mart so Ash and I could get stuff for our bathroom and then to my aunt Terri's to get my boxes. I was so exhausted! I finally got home and realized that I didn't have any sheets so I had to sleep on my quilt that I made and then fold it over the top of me. Yeah......I recommend not doing that. ; )I was just feeling so stressed and was a little homesick and I am still trying to get used to the fact that I won't get to see Jared for 2 years. But everything went a lot better today and I was able to get more organized and put stuff where it belongs and just realize that once I get into my routine of things everything will be just fine. I will post some pictures of our apartment and my room and everything once it is all done. It is a pretty nice place and we have done some cute stuff with it! Well I need to get up early for another fun filled crazy day so that's all I have for today. I just wanted to let everyone know that we got here and I am so excited for the next couple years! And I also wanted to thank everyone who has helped me get to this point in my life. I will try and post more tomorrow and I will be sure to keep everyone updated while I am up here! GO COUGARS! : )

Naughty Will!

Alright so last week when my sister Ashlee was still here we were over at our sister Drea's house and Drea was sleeping and Jason was gone. So it was just Ashlee, Will (the cat), and I. Let's just say that the three of us have never really gotten along that well. For some reason Will can't stand it when we are over. He swats at our feet when we are just walking around and if we try to play with him or pick him up he goes for the kill and tries to bite us sometimes. I am kind of warming up to him but for some reason on this particular Sunday he was a bit crankier than usual. He started biting at us left and right and we were scared out of our minds! I got the squirt bottle and was trying to get him to go in the laundry room but he freaked out and went and hid in the curtains. Ashlee remembered that he hates bags so she went with that idea....and well, you can see the rest. : )

Angela likes to say please, thank you, and excuse me to P.J.(my dog) so I thought I might try that approach. : )

He never went into the laundry room but he backed off and we all went to neutral corners! : )

Photo Shoot

My sister Angela is starting up with photography and has gotten a lot of practice while visiting. Even though she will deny this, she had the idea to take pictures of Jared and I. I liked the idea because I want a good picture of us before he leaves for Kentucky on his mission! Anyway so we went to a park nearby and she just took some pictures of us. I think they turned out pretty good!

I think he was pointing out his new friend on the wall....nasty mcCockroach, so I don't really know why I am smiling! ; )

She got a kick out of making me jump in the air and climb up the wall so she could take pictures!

I admit it was a tad on the awkward side but we ended up laughing a lot and it turned out good! Thanks Ang and keep up the good work with your photography! : )

Disney Mania!

Last weekend some of the girls in my ward and I had a Disney party! It was a lot of fun! We watched Disney movies and pigged out on some good stuff! : ) We made a few trips in the middle of the night to keep ourselves awake. We went to taco bell, QT, and a nearby park. It was awesome! Megann, Emily, and I spent half the night taking random pictures of ourselves and Chelsie and Rachel refused to come and join the fun as they were "quite comfortable on the couch" as they put it!

When Rachel got there later than everyone else we decided to welcome her with a little surprise! : )
Poor Lil' Megann.....she was standing right behind Emily when Rachel got there and since she is so short her little arm barely made it over Emily's head starting this little quarel! : ) haha so funny!

The Big "2-0"

On the 4th of April I celebrated my 20th birthday! I didn't think that was that old until Jamie called me up to wish me a happy birthday and asked if I had woken up that morning with a sore back and aching joints. ...thanks a lot! ; ) So I had a really good birthday this year! On Friday (my actual birthday) Ashlee and some friends took me out to lunch to one of my favorite places, YC's, and that was a lot of fun! But then my favorite part was my date that night!

Jared and I had gone back and forth about what we were going to do and how it was going to work out and everything and things turned out a little different then were planned but it was still the best night! Our plan was to watch Testaments (it always makes him cry and i wanted to see : ) ), go out to dinner and then go star gazing. So he shows up and we are talking for a little while because i wasn't quite ready and then i ask him about the movie (he was supposed to bring it) and he realizes that he didn't even bring it! He felt so bad but it was fine. We ended up just talking and i even played one of my new songs for him on the guitar. So then we went to dinner at Charlestons with Jason and Drea. That was fun! So then we went back to my house and got a blanket and went to a nearby park and just watched the stars for awhile. ; ) It was awesome! So then we came back to my house and he gave me my AMAZING birthday present and then he went home. Sorry everyone, no birthday kiss. : ) It was just a really fun day and a birthday i will definitely be remembering!*

Ok i know it has been forever but i am going to get better at blogging more often! So these are just a few pictures of my step sister and I golfing and just hanging out! She is so much fun and we are always so crazy together and I love it! I am excited for the years to come, getting closer and taking trips to the happiest place on earth! : )

On a mission...

Every week we try to do a ladies night with just the girls going out and having fun. This last week we went and got Sushi and then took a trip to Ikea in search of some mini spoons that they had at the restaurant. After making our way through the store participating in a lot of different activites and exploring many different types of furniture, like stefanie's little bear friend and Ashlee's round bed that she wants, we finally found them! That place is so huge and I already have some ideas of how i want my future house to be decorated! : ) It was a lot of fun and I am excited to see what other adventures us girls are going to get ourselves into in future nights!

Bowling with the kids

So all of the kids went bowling on New Years Eve and i totally dominated all! Yeah that's right, what now! : ) It was a lot of fun just going out with all of us because we don't get a chance to do that very often. Christian and Angela were trying to give Ashlee some pointers because everytime she would be done with her turn she would turn around and mumble "I hate this stupid game" or something like that! She ended up doing a lot better by just using her left hand though! It was fun!
